CEO Carlton and United Breweries & AB InBev Zone President (Asia Pacific South)
Jan Craps was appointed to the role of CEO of CUB and Zone President Asia Pacific South for AB InBev in October 2016. He was previously Business Unit President Canada for Anheuser Busch InBev (AB InBev). Jan is a Belgian citizen and received a degree in Business Engineering from KU Brussels and a Masters Degree in Business engineering from KU Leuven, both in Belgium. Jan joined AB InBev in 2002 following two years as an associate consultant with McKinsey & Company and subsequently acquired a range of international experience in a number of senior marketing and sales executive positions in France and Belgium. In 2011, he relocated to Canada to lead the Quebec Sales Region and was then appointed Head of Sales for Canada followed by his appointment as Business Unit President in 2014.
BU President (Australia, NZ & Pacific Islands)
Peter Filipovic was appointed President of Business Unit Australia in October 2016. Prior to this, Peter was the CUB Sales Director which he commenced in 2012. Peter has held a variety of roles within the company, including Sales Director On Premise, Commercial Finance Director and General Manager of Taxation. He has been employed with CUB for 16 years. Peter holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Economics (Accounting) from Monash University and is also a Chartered Accountant.
VP Legal & Corporate Affairs
Jessica was initially appointed General Counsel and Company Secretary in November 2014 and brings over 13 years in-house legal and management experience to CUB. Jessica has held senior legal and management positions in various industries; including telecommunications, mining, steel milling, and commodity sales businesses. Her most recent role prior to joining the CUB team was General Counsel & Company Secretary at Service Stream Limited and before that she was Regional Counsel for Belgian-based Nystar NV. Jessica has significant experience in leading large-scale projects (including acquisitions and integration projects), managing litigation & disputes and contract drafting and negotiation. Jessica recently completed a Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance through the Institute of Chartered Secretaries.
Richard was appointed as VP Marketing in October 2016. His marketing career at CUB spans 14 years and he has a strong track record of translating strategy into action to deliver results. Richard has built his career alongside some of CUB’s most loved and successful brands. He brings an intimate knowledge of our brands, business and people to his role, having worked his way up through brand, state marketing, group marketing manager and general manager roles. He has successfully launched several new-to-market innovations and turned around large brands and categories back to sustainable growth. Richard holds a Bachelor of Business in Marketing and Management from Monash University and is a keen golfer.
Paul was appointed Strategy Director in 2014 having previously held the position of Sales Director – On Premise. Prior to that, he was the Marketing Director for Carlton & United Breweries. Paul joined CUB in 2008 as Group Marketing Manager, VB and Crown. Prior to joining CUB, Paul held Sales, Marketing and Corporate Strategy roles at Lion Nathan, and across the Schweppes, Red Bull, Gatorade, Solo and Cottee’s brands at Cadbury Schweppes. Paul holds a Marketing Degree and is a Lecturer at RMIT. He also spent four years as a professional Australian Rules footballer at Collingwood Football Club.
VP Information & Business Services (IBS)
Ken joined CUB in 2013 and prior to being appointed VP IBS, he held the role of Information Systems Country Manager. Ken has previously served as LatAm Global template Deployment Lead for Bavaria Colombia and as Head of Deployments GTO for SABMiller PLC. Ken received a Bachelor of Science Degree from The University of Queensland.
Ken joins CUB after previously working as the Manufacturing Director for SABMiller Europe. He is a British citizen and received a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Durban. Ken joined SABMiller in 1990 and previously served as Head of Engineering Group Technical and as Managing Director Soft Drinks.
Anton van Heerden
Anton joins CUB from SABMiller where he was Operations Director Asia. He is a South African citizen and holds a degree from the University of Cape Town. Anton joined SABMiller in 1997 and previously served as Integration Director / SC Director for SABMiller Asia / Australia and as Supply Chain Director for SABMiller Asia.
Marcos most recently held the position of Finance Director AB Inbev International. He is a Brazilian citizen and received a degree in Business Administration from IBMEC. Marcos joined AB InBev in 2003 and has also served as Global Business Cycle Director and Zone PPM Director NAZ.
Lindsay is a Canadian citizen and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Western Ontario. Lindsay first joined AB InBev in 2007, and has served in many roles in the people team including in talent management and acquisition and as People Continuity Manager and People Commercial Director.
VP Legal & Corporate Affairs
Craig is a U.S. citizen and received a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Chicago and a J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law. Craig joined AB InBev in 2012 and has served in zone and global roles involving both legal and compliance. He previously worked for law firms in the U.S., Peru and Brazil, and has held positions in New York City government.
