Cascade Brewery congratulates the Tasmanian and Federal Governments, the AFL and the Tasmanian community on the historic announcement of a Tasmanian AFL franchise.

The announcement comes after years of hard work and encouragement from Tasmanians, community groups, industry bodies and the Tasmanian Government to ensure Tasmania has an AFL team.

Jesse Cartwright, Cascade Brewery Plant Manager, said “We are so excited that the bid for a Tasmanian AFL team has been successful. As a proud Tasmanian brewery, we are delighted that the State and Federal Governments and the AFL have all come together to facilitate a Tasmanian AFL team.
